Hello everyone!
I decided to carve out some time for an update on what's happening here behind the scenes with Perfect Stride.
First off, "Perfect Stride: Cross-Country" is now officially (and simply) "Perfect Stride". It's succinct and conveys more with fewer letters getting in the way. So everyone give a round of applause for the official naming of "Perfect Stride"! :)
Next, there's a little bit of post-processing work being done to the artwork for each card; things like adjusting levels, increasing/decreasing saturation or brightness here and there, etc. Overall just making sure each card is groomed to a standard consistent with the other pieces of art.
Thirdly, our super-talented illustrator TK is hard at work on the box cover art. I'm looking forward to seeing what she creates and will happily reveal the final artwork when the time comes.
And the one other thing that Jeff and I here at Funleague are working on is getting a couple of websites up and running. We look forward to the day where Funleague and Perfect Stride have an official home. I'll happily announce when we are live on virtual frontier.
And that's the news.
~Kay

Perfect Stride: Cross-Country...Now in Colour!
Check this out folks! Perfect Stride: Cross-Country has reached another benchmark...colour! Nothing says milestone like amazing line art receiving incredible paintwork.
I'm very pleased to introduce you to Zelda. She's a digital artist with loads of talent and a painting style that I just HAD to have featured in this project. Zelda is working her magic on the next batch of artwork and I'm eagerly anticipating its arrival.
Zelda has a blog! http://www.teeteringbulb.com Tons more of her stellar work is featured there. It's well worth the visit.

Perfect Stride: The Logo
I'm ready to do another post. And so soon too! Lots of stuff is moving forward. I'm loving this momentum. One of the things I'm personally working on is the "Perfect Stride" logo (posted above). It's definitely a work-in-progress. In fact, I'm on the cusp of putting out the call for a talented graphic designer to step up and turn this inkling of an idea into something really cool.
I want to feature a stylized horse as part of the logo. Complete with super-flowy mane and tail. :) The words "Perfect Stride" need to be part of it somehow, but I'm really not sure how to go about that. I also want this to be part of the back-of-the-card art. So I figure I'll need a couple versions of the logo. One for the cards, one for the title on the box art, etc.
So much to figure out! :)

Moving Right Along
Lots of things on the go here at Funleague. One of the many things we're focusing on are two logos; one for our company and the other for our card game. These are tough to figure out! They need to convey a lot of information, be relevant and be memorable. Tall order.
Another thing that we're starting to think about is getting an official website put together, but we need to figure out our logos first. So these are kind of holding things up a bit.
Bronwyn just delivered another batch of cards. Gorgeous stuff. Excellent work Bronwyn!
Here's an example:
I'm so proud of the high-quality artwork that's being created for this project. :)
